All Eyes on Korea at Jubilee Gardens

Returning to the Festival for a fourth year, the Korean Cultural Centre UK present All Eyes on Korea, a celebration of Korean culture in Jubilee Gardens. Leading talents from a wide range of Korean arts and cultural groups have been selected and include extreme dance comedy from Break Out – an energetic extravaganza, returning to London after a global tour which has taken in the London's West End, the Edinburgh Fringe (2007 Box Office No. 1), Laos, India, Malaysia, China, Bangkok, Singapore and a 3-month Broadway run.

Korean fusion group Baramgot perform contemporary pieces on traditional instruments to create their own unique sound. The Korean stage programme also features Taekwondo demonstrations - a firm festival favourite, these world-class fighters from the Korean National Sport University demonstrate their incredible skills, impressive flying kicks and the smashing of roof tiles.

All Eyes on Korea is a family event and includes a whole host of activities and workshops for children of all ages. There will be a photo-shoot with popular animation characters, including Pucca and Pororo the Little Penguin, and various board games provided by the Korea Creative Content Agency. For those feeling hungry there is also a selection of Korean dishes from some of London’s leading Korean restaurants.
