Bardathon returns to The Scoop after a successful debut last October.

This year the Shakespeare marathon will consist of 6 plays over 12 hours beginning at 12 noon and finishing at midnight.

The language of Shakespeare will ring out across the riverside and all are invited to sit and enjoy the plays.

12 noon - A Comedy Of Errors directed by James Farrell
2pm - Much Ado About Nothing directed by Rachel Parish
4pm - King John directed by Paul Engers
6pm - Richard III directed by Jason Lawson
8pm - Julius Caesar directed by Bronagh Lagan
10pm - Macbeth directed by Alison Mead

Each play will run for just under two hours interspersed with a medley of sonnets, songs and speeches performed by individual actors.

Do you have a favourite sonnet you'd like to recite or read out? If so just approach one of the stage managers on the day and you can take part!

Performers are drawn from professional actors across London and the south east from fresh graduates to veterans of the stage and screen - they are all united by their love of Shakespeare.
