This event is in the past. This is an archive page for reference.

Filmed over three years, this observational documentary captures artist David Hockney at a challenging point in his art and life as he approaches the age of 70.

After 25 years in California he returns to Yorkshire, where he decides to reinvent his painting from scratch, working throughout the seaons and in all weather and ends his largest picture ever painted outdoors.

The film will be introduced by artist Daniel Lehan who will be leading a short art activity from 6.30pm-7pm as well as giving away a limited edition of his newsletter A3 - Artists and their Dogs.

Membership of the Community Film Club is primarily intended for residents of Southwark and Lambeth.
