Global Education Volunteer

STAR4Africa

Part-time

About this role

As a Global Education volunteer you will be designing templates for lesson plans and assemblies that will bring global citizenship to life in our schools.

Additionally, you may assist in updating and monitoring our online Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) which allows schools across our network to work on global learning projects together. We will also welcome your creative and technical input on all our International Awareness Day events and activities.

Person description

Are you a retired teacher looking for a new challenge within the field of education? Or a trained teacher who is looking to gain experience in the not-for-profit sector?

If you also have experience of the curriculum in one of the countries we work with outside of the UK (Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia) we would especially like to hear from you.

About STAR4Africa

STAR4Africa’s exciting School2School Programme links schools in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, the UK and Zambia in partnerships that promote global citizenship and shared learning. We have just reached the end of our 6 month pilot and are looking for an experienced and dedicated volunteer to assist us with developing inspiring school resources.

More information on our work can be found via our website www.STAR4Africa.org.uk
